PD Remedial was engaged to investigate the external area of a medium-rise twin-tower A -Grade commercial office building. Here, the powder coat finish to building’s façade was delaminating. The investigation began with a trial that involved testing panels of a section of the building by painting each in a protective coating. The aim of the trial was to ascertain the adhesion of the protective coating to the façade substrate as well as confirming it matched the architectural finish of the building.
